Why do I have to Register?

Registration is mandatory to protect the integrity of our content. We value the privacy of our users and appreciate their reviews.

I forgot my Password, how do I reset it?

You can reset your password on the login page. There is a link to the login page on the left hand side of the registration page, or you can click this link.

Can I Write an Anonymous Review?

Yes. You are given the option of writing an anonymous review or having your first name displayed. Please note that our servers keep track of all reviews you write to ensure users are complying with the Terms and Conditions.

How does internSHARE deal with Privacy?

All company reviews can be written anonymously. Also, when posting an item for sale your name and email address are kept private unless you choose to reply to members who are interested. When posting a review, only information regarding the date, location, and description of your review will be visible. Your email address is not given out to other members unless you are interested in purchasing an item from them, in which case your email address will be used to automatically contact the seller. Please contact us about any privacy concerns.

What are My Places and what does adding a Place mean?

My Places is a list of your favourite cities/places that is quickly accessible from any page. After login, your homepage will display new internSHARE content related to your Places. You can add a Place by browsing or searching for a city and then clicking Add to My Places on the city's profile page.

What does a Place/city's popularity rating mean?

The popularity rating is the sum of the number of reviewed companies, active events, and active items for sale in a given place

We have just recently launched and are actively improving the site. If you find something that doesn't look right please contact us.

Can I search for multiple terms at the same time?

Absolutely! Simply separate your terms by commas in the search box. For example: Toronto, Markham would search for any result that is related to Toronto or Markham.

What happens when I click the little Red Flag/What is Reporting Abuse?

If you sign up you agree that you will do the best you can to report abuse. Red Flags are scattered throughout the site to make it as easy as possible to report content that looks inappropriate or inaccurate. Simply click the Red Flag and we will be notified immediately.

Why do I get an error when trying to upload an Image?

Please logout of the site and log back in, then try uploading the image again

I've never heard of internSHARE, can I trust you?

Absolutely. We take security very seriously. We've taken many extreme precautions to ensure that your personal information is safe. For example, we do not store your password as plain text, rather we have a complex algorithm for authentication. In addition, our servers are protected and professionally monitored 24/7.

Is this Another Social Networking Site?

No. The main goal of this site is to give you a heads up in the business world by helping you choose the right path and give you opportunities to succeed.

Can I Sponsor Your Site?

Since we just launched, with user experience as the primary focus, we do not currently have an advertising platform. If you would like to sponsor the site please contact us and we will discuss options on a one-to-one basis. We are flexible and can accommodate packages of any type.

Do you Sell our Reviews?

No. Member reviews are only visible to other members and we do not sell statistics, ratings, opinions, or reviews to the outside world.
